There was a high sense of accomplishment as IBOAI Board members, staff and Quixtar Corporate executives began the closing session of their June IBOAI Board meeting. The feeling was that things had never gone smoother!

Board Chairman Bill Hawkins thanked the committees, saying, “We want to make this Board the envy of the industry.” Then he turned to Quixtar Managing Director Steve Lieberman and the rest of the Corporate staff and thanked them for the Corporation’s “true partnership and true transparency.”

Alticor President Doug DeVos shared the thinking from the executive offices: “Our cause has never changed in almost 50 years – to bring free enterprise around the world.  I challenge you to stay on our free enterprise cause.  As we work in partnership to make the business better for the next generation.  We must always remember better is only better when it stays consistent with our values.”

Discussion was lively and issues complex. Days were long as committees huddled in multiple sessions, as IBO leaders and Corporate executives worked together to iron out challenges or tweak recommendations.

The Marketing Advisory Committee (MAC) also met during the Board Meeting and made recommendations on products, ordering, and registration issues.

Although Board members work on issues and recommendations during official Board Meetings, they also meet informally throughout the year and participate in phone conferences to work on all issues oriented to the business opportunity.
