The
Independent
Business Owners Association International works year- round to
create an atmosphere that fosters the growth of your
business. In the most recent issues of
Achieve®
Magazine, we’ve reiterated our core values and shared information about the
IBOA International Web site. Here’s an
overview of recent issues and projects.
-
Hired KPMG, a
consulting firm specializing in IRS issues, to work with the IRS in representing
your interests.
-
Recommended
revisions and updates to the Sales Incentive Program and the Independent
Business Ownership Plan.
-
Worked with
Amway Global / Quixtar Business Relations to simplify online registration and renewal;
implemented electronic signatures.
-
Recommended a
program to provide immediate income for IBOs and added recognition and
incentives.
-
Worked on
revising, eliminating, and implementing various rules. Particularly important
are the Member/Client Volume requirements.
-
Beginning with
April 2002 business, which was paid in May,
Amway Global
began capturing the
data on orders made by/for Members and Clients and reporting that data monthly
to each IBO and Platinum.
-
Sponsoring IBOs
who earn a bonus on downline volume must meet the requirements each month. If
the sponsoring IBO does not comply, Amway Global will send any payment on downline
volume to the upline Platinum for processing.
Last but not least
is the “live” status of
www.ibofacts.com. A lot of time and effort has
gone into creating a Web site that will prove invaluable as you show new
prospects and existing IBOs the uniqueness of a business opportunity that
provides a strong, active
association for its members. The sections of the site,
discuss openly and honestly the facts
concerning Independent Business Ownership. We urge you to use the site
to further explain the vision and values behind your business―the
facts―not the fiction!
All the above is a result of your sharing your thoughts
and concerns with us. We encourage you to continue to keep us informed,
and we’ll keep working to ensure that the business opportunity today is
as good or better for future generations.
