As the business world continues to undergo whirlwind changes at an ever-increasing speed, it is
reassuring to know there's an organization of strength and
stability dedicated solely to representing the interests of
Independent Business Owners.
The
Independent Business Owners Association International, led by its Board of Directors, is a collective voice formed primarily for advising the
Amway Global
Corporation from the IBO perspective. The Board meets regularly three times a year, and special meetings are also called as necessary to handle important matters that arise.
At this year's March and June meetings (the other scheduled meeting is in October), your Board discussed a variety of topics, which included:

E-commerce enhancements -
New products and promotions -
International business enhancements -
Expanded insurance programs -
Rules of Conduct changes
In addition, the Board and the company formed a Strategic Planning Task Force to establish greater alignment in devising business strategy and goals for the immediate future. Comprising the Task Force are four Board members and four company representatives, including Doug
DeVos.
