You and your own business. You set your own goals.
You are responsible for your own success. Does this mean that you're in it
alone? Absolutely not!
As an Independent Business Owner powered by
Quixtar,
you're backed with the strength of an entire organization that exists solely to
pursue your business interests―the
Independent Business Owners Association
International.
The
IBOA International is your voice representing
your interests with
Quixtar. By working closely with
IBOA International,
Quixtar
remains informed of "what's best for the IBO" as it relates to every area of
operation. This partnering is a primary reason why the business opportunity is
more promising than ever.
The
IBOA International is governed by a Board of
Directors elected by members of the
IBOA International. All are Independent
Business Owners, just like you, who have attained the level of Diamond and
above. The Board of Directors meets at Diamond Club three times a year to
discuss issues, make recommendations, and to protect and promote your interests.
The
IBOA International also includes the Executive
Committee and four standing committees: the Awards and Recognition Committee,
the Business Operations Committee, the International Committee, and the Legal
and Ethics Committee. Each has differing areas of responsibility:
-
The International Committee is responsible for new
policies or changes to existing policies regarding business outside North
America.
-
The Awards and Recognition Committee considers any
proposed change to
Quixtar's incentive and awards programs.
-
The Legal and Ethics Committee focuses primarily on
the Rules of Conduct for Independent Business Owners as well as addressing a
variety of related topics such as the Internet, dispute resolution, and the
Business Support Materials Arbitration Agreement.
-
The Business Operations Committee handles proposed
changes to Independent Business Owner benefits, new product programs,
distribution methods, communication technology, and similar matter affecting the
operation of an IBO's business.
In addition, the
IBOA International supports the
Marketing Advisory Committee (MAC), also formed in partnership with
Quixtar. The
MAC provides input to the
IBOA International Board, through the Business
Operations Committee, on a range of topics including literature, product lines,
marketing, and procedures.
But one of the most important components of the
IBOA
International is you, its members. The
IBOA International works for you and
relies on your ideas and suggestions. As an IBO building your own business, you
face many challenges along the way, often creating new and innovative solutions
for success. We encourage you to share those ideas with us, along with any other
suggestions you may have. Together, we can make the business opportunity even
better.
